Arduino Ethernet Board

Looking to build an Internet connected device? The Arduino Ethernet is the ticket, with an Arduino UNO paired with an ethernet port it's the perfect piece of hardware to experiment with the Internet of Things. Or if you've developed something using an Arduino and an Ethernet shield it can be ported to this board with no code changes (uses the same WizNet W5100 controller).

The Arduino Ethernet allows you to connect your Arduino projects to the internet. Simply plug it in to your network (via ethernet cable) and begin talking to the world wide web. It can be programmed to act as a web-server (delivering web pages), or as a client pushing information to a web service (be it twitter, pachube.com or your own website). The possibilities are truly astonishing.

While this little board is great we still recommend beginners start with the Arduino USB board

This board is also POE compatible with the addition of a compatible POE module

NOTE: This board does not include the USB-Serial circuitry so something similar to an USB to Serial Converter is required.
